Cheap Flights to New York on Jet Blue to Watch the Yankees Play
Jet Blue is offering cheap flights to New York on a new plane that epitomizes the essence of that city. The company unveiled it's new Airbus A320 in partnership with Empire State Development (ESD), the aircraft has been named "I Heart Blue York." It features the airline's trademark along with the iconic I LOVE NEW YORK tourism logo. Hundreds of crew-members at the company's JFK airport base were the first to see the new plane. The cheaper flights to New York are fantastic for baseball fans because New York Yankees fans can easily watch their favorite team play a home game live even if the fan is not based in New York.
The CEO of JetBlue said that the plane represents the company's commitment to its' home state. The ESD Executive Director said that JetBlue is an important economic engine for the state, with the tourism industry overall generating billions in spending that helps create new jobs and contributes to local taxes revenues. Short films to promote tourism for New York state will be shown-in flight on the aircraft throughout this month.
