Tribute to Yankees baseball owner George Steinbrenner

On the 13th July, the New York Yankees owner and managing partner, George Steinbrenner passed away from a long and enduring illness at the age of 80.
In his years of managing the New York Yankees, Steinbrenner created a world class baseball team that dominated the game. He was a critical player in shaping the team for 37 years, earning the Yankees the World Series Title 7 times. Steinbrenner was also responsible for creating a team of the greatest baseball players.
Tributes were made to give thanks to this incredible man who had dedicated his life to the world of Major League baseball. The Yankees have agreed to continue his legacy by wearing a Steinbrenner commemorative patch on their uniforms.
